Our film does
comply with one of the major conventions of the genre; mental health problems. This is a good thing for us because it will still
attract people who enjoy psychological thrillers to come and watch the film. The conventions are also there for a reason- because these types of
factors work well with psychological thrillers, so it is important to keep some conventions. It also
contests other conventions which is also a good thing because it allows the film to be
original. This will also help
separate this film from others of the same genre and will keep it from being similar to what people have already seen. For this reason it will
attract more potential viewers.
